Yannick Richomme, CEO of Incidence Group and Fr\u00e9d\u00e9ric Duthil, CEO and sole shareholder of Technique Voile have entered into an exclusive agreement for the purchase of the sailmaker from La Trinit\u00e9-sur-mer by the Incidence Group\u2019s holding. After a necessary audit phase, this purchase will be completed just before summer.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Trough this agreement, Incidence Group stands as Europe\u2019s leading company with close to 21 M\u20ac of consolidated turnover for each of its four brands: Incidence Sails, Incidence Technologies, Delta Voiles, et Technique Voile.<\/p>\n

The combination of two dynamics<\/strong>
\nTechnique Voile and Incidence are two growing companies that are at the cutting edge of technology. They both have increasing turnovers and are faced with increasing demand. The combination of their own dynamics aims at creating constructive synergies for their respective clients as well as for the entire Group:
\n– Incidence membranes will be more widely disseminated
\n– Technique Voile will be able to provide its clients with an extended range of technological products.
\n– Both the sailmakers will increase the group\u2019s network in order to provide even better support to boaters and racers.
\n– The combination of resources, technology and internal know-how will offer new development opportunities.<\/p>\n

The entire workforce and production sites of both companies will remain the same.<\/p>\n

\n\u00ab This acquisition fits the development strategy and, after the foundation of Incidence Technologie in 2013, followed by the acquisition of Delta Voiles in 2018, reflects the strong commitment of the shareholders to develop the first French sailmaker now being Europe\u2019s leader in the sails industry.<\/p>\n

It is however important to note that this agreement is a blend between the two entities and not an absorbtion.
\nThe brand Technique Voile will remain, especially where it has a dominant position regarding market shares.
\nIncidence technologies\u2019 R&D will be shared with Technique Voile and every opportunity of synergies in terms of production or administration will be taken.
\nWe admire Technique Voile\u2019s success under Fr\u00e9d\u00e9ric Duthil\u2019s leadership and are very happy with this agreement made between two strong brands in the boating, racing and shipyard market segments.<\/p>\n

\nThis is the reason why the agreement with Incidence is a great opportunity that will lead Technique Voile to pursue its development by offering its clients an extended range of products and especially the filamentary membrane DFi\u00ae, produced in France.
